Joey Sanvido, SPHR
Director of Human Resources
I joined SRC in 2018 as the Director of Human Resource. I oversee all functional areas of HR, from recruiting to retirements. I bring a unique perspective to overseeing a highly regulated area of the organization, striving to do what makes sense while maintaining compliance. I always keep the employee experience in the forefront of WHY we do things.
Having worked in both for-profit and nonprofit, I’m able to approach situations leveraging this broad experiential background. I also have over 20 years of HR experience across all functional areas of HR, specializing in strategic advice to operational managers, directing the administrative functions of complex organizations, developing company culture, etc.
Most recently, I served as an HR advisor and mentor, sharing my knowledge and expertise with like agencies, business leaders, and HR professionals within Colorado.
I earned my Double Major BA in Business Administration/Human Resource Management with a minor in Communications. I also hold my SPHR as well as my SCP through SHRM.
I was raised in the Pacific North West and currently live in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains outside of Denver with my husband David and daughter Rylie. Outside of work, I’m the mom-shuttle until my daughter can drive. I also love attending my daughter’s sports events, visiting family in the PNW, and traveling!
