A-LIFT offers transportation to Adams County residents who are mobility impaired (must rely at all times on a walker or wheelchair) regardless of age, or who are 60 years of age and over. Transportation is offered to medical and dental appointments, community-based care programs, grocery facilities, congregate meal sites or personal trips. Its mission is to promote mobility and independence for older adults and disabled persons through a community partnership committed to accessible and affordable transportation in Adams County.

Rides are available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday in Adams County. They are provided at no fee, although donations are accepted and appreciated to defray costs. Service animals are accepted on vehicles
