A DAY OF RESPITE
FREE FOR CAREGIVERS
Seniors’ Resource Center (SRC) is looking for Caregivers who would be interested in participating in a free-of-charge pilot project funded by a grant from Colorado Respite Coalition providing a special Saturday session for family caregivers and their aging loved ones at our Wheat Ridge and Evergreen locations.
5 hours of free Adult Day Services with option for caregivers will be provided!
Caregivers will be given the option of leaving their loved one and taking some free time for themselves; or staying and participating in a workshop presented by Lori Ramos Cavallo, Caregiving Coach and Founder of Care Partners Resource, a free educational website for Caregivers.
If you choose to stay for the workshop, you will learn valuable information to help you manage the challenges of caring for your loved one, as well as enjoy a free lunch and an opportunity to meet other caregivers in similar situations. In exchange for the free Adult Day Services, you will be asked to complete an online survey on the benefits of the day Respite as well as an in-person questionnaire which will help assess the benefit of offering Saturday services.
