In-Home Care Services provides friendly and affordable services
to you in your home. Trained and bonded providers assist with:
Personal Care
Includes assistance with bathing, dressing, and other personal
needs
Homemaking Tasks
Includes light housekeeping, laundry, errands, vacuuming and meal
preparation
Companionship
Including structured activities such
as playing cards and reading.
Our providers are caring, compassionate individuals who enjoy
working with seniors and others with special needs. All providers
complete 14 hours of training. Thorough background checks are
conducted for all care providers and on-going educational opportunities
are provided.
Services are provided to you in the comfort of your home, wherever
you reside. All of the In-home Care staff members are trained
and supervised by a licensed nurse.
Several payment options are available. You may pay privately
or be eligible for Medicaid benefits through programs such as
Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) and/or Home Care (call
on) Allowance (HCA). If you are interested in Medicaid funding,
please contact your county Department of Human Services.
In-home care services benefit:
Families caring for an elderly and/or disabled relative; seniors
needing assistance at home; person living with a chronic illness
or debilitation; adults recovering from surgery or hospitalization;
individuals with a dementia such as Alzheimer's disease.
Services are available throughout Jefferson County and its surrounding
areas. There is a two hour minimum visit with a schedule developed
to meet your needs. You can receive service as often as daily
or as infrequently as once a month.
Customer satisfaction is the key to the Personal Care Program's
success and we strive to meet your needs in a friendly, professional
manner.
Services are available Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
