SRC Transportation Service for the metro area is provided at no charge to older urban residents of Jefferson and Adams Counties. SRC Transportation Call Center
303.235.6972 | Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Rides may be requested for any purpose allowing riders to travel independently to medical/dental appointments, go grocery shopping, attend congregate noon meals, go to community based care programs, take personal trips such as the to beauty shop, for banking, visiting a friend, etc., (within 10 miles of the resident address). A rider can take three round trips per week with exceptions made for medical reasons.

Try to make ride requests  three business days in advance whenever possible. Shorter notice requests can be made including the day of the request (such as a medical follow-up) but it is a first call/first serve situation. Some trips that occur regularly (i.e. shopping, going to dialysis) can be placed into a subscription service so you don't need to call each week. Advance notice helps build efficient routing since this is a shared ride system.

New riders will receive a "new rider packet," usually within two weeks of a call. This packet includes important information, phone numbers, the latest rider Newsletter titled "Going You Way" and  donation envelopes to get you started with using this wonderful service.

In Jefferson County, rides are available to appointments as early as  7 a.m. (local) to 4 p.m. return times.
