Volunteer Services

Volunteer Services helps individuals to serve their communities through three distinct programs: the SRC Volunteer Program, the Jeffco Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), and the Volunteer Driver Services Program.

In 2008, 1,868 volunteers from the SRC Volunteer and RSVP programs provided home repairs, fraud prevention education and personal support, and contributed 170,483 hours of volunteer service to the community.

• SRC Volunteer Program - Volunteers of all ages may contribute their particular experiences, interests, and skills through many available opportunities. 

• RSVP - Offers opportunities to volunteer at Jefferson County non-profit agencies for individuals age 55 and older.

• Volunteer Driver Program - Personal trips and occassional medical rides are provided to individuals age 50 and older by volunteers in their personal vehicles.
