On May 8th, Seniors’ Resource Center (SRC) and Jefferson County Council on Aging (JCCoA) held their 16th annual Senior Hero Awards. The Mountain Vista Retirement Community, in Wheat Ridge, was kind enough to host the event.
It was a day to celebrate Jefferson County Senior Volunteers. We are so thankful for the volunteers that make Jefferson County a great place to live and it was nice to have Dave Aguilera as the MC for the event. It was a great success. A lot of people attended, the speakers were entertaining and the food was great.
