Brice is a 90 year old man who lives alone. Three years ago, he had a stroke and lost 50 pounds. He is one very determined man; fighting prostate cancer and fighting to stay in his home for as long as possible.

Carl is a Personal Care Provider for Seniors’ Resource Center. He goes to visit and take care of Brice giving hope and encouragement four days a week. Carl’s goal is for Brice to get better; physically and emotionally.

Ever since Carl has visited Brice, Brice has regained a lot of his strength and has gained over 24 pounds. He awaits his 91st birthday in good health and spirit; in great part due to Carl’s enthusiastic and caring visits.

“I’m amazed at what he can do for himself, but when Brice needs me, I come anytime 7 days a week,” said Carl. “I do whatever it takes to keep him in his home.”

And, that is also the goal of Seniors’ Resource Center: to do whatever it takes to keep seniors in their home.

Our In Home Care Services provide friendly and affordable non-medical care to individuals in their own home. Trained and bonded Personal Care Providers assist with bathing, dressing, and other personal needs, as well as light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation and companionship.
