SRC Receives Human Services Transit Organization of the Year Award

Seniors’ Resource Center was presented the award for Human Services Agency of the Year which recognized best practices implemented by an organization that provided transportation services for the older adults and those with disabilities. Using a modified brokerage model along with leveraging an expansive volunteer driver network to augment paid drivers allowed Seniors’ Resource Center of Lakewood, Colorado to offer one of the lowest cost-per-trip for this level of door to-through-door service.
